International clients should consider currency exchange rates [Top]
All AdeptEdit's fees and charges are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD$). Many clients will benefit from the advantageous exchange rate of the Australian dollar against other major currencies, as well as from the high quality, fast and efficient service provided by AdeptEdit.

AdeptEdit Pricing [Top]
AdeptEdit's fees are based on an hourly rate which depends on the service (Standard or Express) you require. An hourly rate ensures you only pay for the time taken to copy edit, re-edit or proofread your document. You do not pay a fixed price per page or per word, irrespective of whether some pages require no or only minor changes. AdeptEdit offers secure online payment facilities (see Secure Payment).
Standard Service
AdeptEdit's standard service is charged at an hourly rate of AUD$50.00.
Edited documents (<40 pages/10,000 words) are returned within 6 business days.
Express Service
AdeptEdit's express service is charged at an hourly rate of AUD$75.00.
Edited documents (<40 pages/10,000 words) are returned within 2-5 business days, depending on the client's needs.
Please note:
Editing for compliance with specified publication or citation formats attracts a 50% surcharge on the service fees quoted above.
Negotiated Prices
AdeptEdit offers special discounts for clients with large documents (>40 pages/10,000 words), individual clients who are repeat users of the service (> 5 submitted documents) and institutional clients guaranteeing a negotiated minimum usage of the service. Administration Charges and Fees
A fixed administrative handling charge of AUD$25.00 applies to each consignment.
For payments made by Telegraphic Funds Transfer (see information provided on the Secure Payment page), a fixed fee of AUD$15.00 will be included to cover Australian bank processing charges.
Fax/Mail Charge
Documents of more than 10 pages (2,500 words) which must be faxed or sent by mail may attract an additional document transmission charge. Please enquire.

You can estimate the cost of having your document edited by AdeptEdit.
A well written document requiring minor corrections can, on average, be edited at a rate of 5 pages per hour (250 words/page). Such a document of 20 pages would take 4 hours and you would be invoiced for a total of AUD$225.00 (standard service), comprising the editing charge of AUD$200.00 (4 hours @ AUD$50.00 per hour) plus the AUD$25.00 handling fee.
This fee of AUD$225.00 equates to (approximately):
